Privacy Policy — MatchPulse 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how MatchPulse 2026 (the "App") handles information. The App is published by Wordly Nomad LLC ("we," "us"). By installing and using the App you agree to this policy.

Short version: MatchPulse 2026 does not collect, store, or share any personal information. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no advertising, and no in-app purchases. Your favorites and reminders live only on your device.

1. Information we do NOT collect

MatchPulse 2026 does not collect or transmit any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers, postal addresses, or any other personally identifiable information
• Account credentials (the App has no user accounts)
• Payment information (the App is free with no in-app purchases or subscriptions)
• Photos, videos, audio, files, calendar entries, contacts, or messages
• Location data of any kind (no GPS, no network-based location, no IP-based geolocation)
• Health, fitness, or biometric data
• Device or advertising identifiers (no advertising ID, no installation ID, no fingerprinting)
• Web-browsing history or in-app search history
• Crash reports, diagnostic data, or performance telemetry
• Behavioral analytics of any kind (no Firebase Analytics, no Google Analytics, no third-party analytics SDK)

There is no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, attribution SDK, crash reporter, or tracking pixel embedded in the App.

2. Information stored on your device

The following information is stored ONLY on your device and never leaves it:

• Favorite teams — the team identifiers you mark as favorites
• Reminder schedules — the matches you have set reminders for and the offsets you chose (24h, 1h, 15m, kickoff)
• Theme preference — whether you selected light, dark, or system
• Onboarding flag — a boolean recording that you completed the first-launch onboarding
• Cached schedule data — the bundled or refreshed tournament schedule, group standings, team profiles, and venue information

This information is stored in an on-device SQLite database (managed by the Drift library) and in standard Android/iOS preferences. It is automatically deleted when you uninstall the App. You can also clear it from inside the App via Settings → Reset local data.

3. Network traffic — what we DO send

The only outbound network request the App makes is an optional, read-only fetch of the public tournament schedule from our Supabase backend at https://xxeckfttwimfyjjleqhn.supabase.co. This request:

• Is sent over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher)
• Includes only a public, read-only API key — the same key for every install — and standard HTTP headers
• Does not include your favorites, reminders, device identifier, IP-based identifier, user-agent fingerprint, or any other user attribute
• Is gated by row-level security so the database can only return the public schedule, never any user data (because no user data exists server-side)
• Can be avoided entirely: the App ships with the full schedule bundled and runs fully offline on first launch

Our Supabase backend stores only the tournament schedule (matches, teams, groups, venues, results). It stores no user accounts, no user data, no logs that include user-identifying information.

4. Permissions used

The App requests these Android permissions:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS (Android 13+) — to deliver kickoff reminders you have explicitly scheduled
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to fire reminders at the precise minute you chose, even while the device is idle. You may revoke this in system Settings; the App falls back to inexact reminders
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to re-register your scheduled reminders after a device restart
• INTERNET — to optionally refresh the tournament schedule from our public backend

On iOS, the App requests notification permission once during onboarding and uses no other restricted capabilities.

5. Children's privacy

MatchPulse 2026 is rated for general audiences and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the App collects no information at all, no child-directed data handling applies.

6. Third parties

The App contains no third-party SDKs that collect user data. The only third-party service is Supabase, used solely as a read-only public CDN for the tournament schedule (see Section 3). We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any user information to any third party because no such information exists.

7. Security

Because no user information is collected or transmitted, there is nothing to be breached on our side. On your device, the App's local database is stored in Android/iOS app-private storage, which is sandboxed by the operating system and not readable by other apps on a non-rooted, non-jailbroken device.

8. Your rights and choices

Because we collect no personal information, the usual data-access and data-deletion requests are not applicable. You can, however:

• Delete all local data at any time via Settings → Reset local data inside the App, or by uninstalling the App
• Revoke notification permission at any time via your device's system Settings
• Revoke exact-alarm permission at any time via your device's system Settings
• Block network access at any time via your device's data-saver or per-app network settings — the App will continue to work with the bundled schedule

If you reside in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with statutory data-subject rights, those rights are moot here because no personal data exists for us to access, correct, or delete.

9. International users

The App is distributed via the Apple App Store and Google Play and is available in countries those stores serve. Because we collect no personal information, no cross-border data transfer occurs.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a future release of the App, we will update the Last updated date at the top and post the revised policy at the URL listed in the Apple App Store and Google Play listings before the new version of the App is published. Material changes will also be summarized in the App's "What's New" listing for that release.
